VELTEK's latest addition to the CCD camera line, Model CVC3100 uses Sony's 1/3" ExViewCCD with IR-OLPF.  OLPF stands for Optical Low Pass Filter, which is instrumental in reducing color aliasing (moire) which is associated with high resolution imagers. OLPFs are made of several layers of optical crystal and have a layer of IR cut-off filter.  To enhance optimal light transmission, OLPFs are coated for anti-reflection.
