The VELCAM line was launched in the Spring of 2000 to meet the needs of the ever-decreasing size of housings and the increasing popularity of "bullet" style cameras. One of the drawbacks of the newer bullet style, aside from they rarely have the adjustability of basic camera functions, is they require the use of a specialty lens or a non-interchangeable lens. Conversely, the VELCAM has all the adjustability, features and benefits of the full size cameras, utilizing standard C or CS mounts, either of which are available on both the VELCAM line and on VELTEK's full size cameras. VELCAMs carry a three year warranty and are the smallest full-function 1/3" CCD camera available on the market.
